These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by Mog and Dog Desexing Clinic, operated by Mog and Dog Desexing Limited (Whangarei) and Mog and Dog Desexing Auckland Limited (Manukau) ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or booking with us, you agree to these terms.
The information on this website is general information only. It is not a substitute for veterinary advice about your own pet. If your pet is unwell or injured, contact a veterinarian straight away. We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete or current.
All desexing bookings are made by email. A booking is confirmed only once we have replied to confirm it. Please follow the pre-surgery instructions we give you, including any fasting instructions. If you need to cancel or change your booking, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the spot to another pet.
Prices shown on this website are in New Zealand dollars. Prices are a guide only and may change without notice. The price you pay is the price confirmed at the time of your appointment. Extra charges may apply if additional treatment is needed (for example, if your pet is in heat, pregnant, or has a retained testicle). Where possible, we will contact you for consent before carrying out extra treatment. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
Desexing vouchers issued by rescue groups, councils or charities are subject to that organisation's own conditions, including expiry dates and what the voucher covers. Any costs not covered by the voucher are payable by you.
You must be the owner of the animal, or authorised by the owner, and at least 18 years old to sign the consent form. All surgery and anaesthesia carry some risk. Our team will explain these risks and you will be asked to sign a consent form before surgery. Please follow the aftercare instructions we give you. For any issues regarding surgery performed at our clinics, call 021 28 33739 (24 hours).
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on its general information. Our liability for our services is limited to the extent allowed by New Zealand law.
